THE ITINERARY
Into the Mountains
HA GIANG → QUAN BA → YEN MINH (95KM)
We roll out of Ha Giang city, immediately leaving the plains behind. The ascent begins at the Bac Sum Pass, twisting upward before dropping into the Quan Ba valley, home to the iconic 'Fairy Bosom' twin mountains. We end the day in the peaceful town of Yen Minh, nestled among pine forests.
The Stone Plateau
YEN MINH → DONG VAN → MA PI LENG (110KM)
Entering the heart of the Geopark. We navigate the breathtaking Tham Ma pass and explore the Hmong King's Palace. The afternoon is dedicated to the crown jewel: the Ma Pi Leng Pass. Carved into the cliffside, this road offers vertigo-inducing views of the Nho Que River below.
