DO I NEED A LICENSE?

Navigating the legalities of riding in Vietnam is crucial. The short answer is yes, you need a valid license to ride legally and ensure your travel insurance covers you.

International Driving Permit (IDP): Valid only if your home country signed the 1968 Vienna Convention. (1949 Convention is not accepted).

Vietnamese License: Required if your IDP is not valid.

Insurance: Most policies will void your claim if you ride illegally.
